You may take your medical elective in Trujillo on the Pacific coast; or in Cajamarca, in the Peruvian Andes. In either location you are sure to have a fantastic and valuable learning experience.

Whether it is the alternative of family home stay or our elective centre accommodation to reinforce your Spanish learning and cultural immersion; or providing you with a mobile phone and private transport to and from your medical facility each day.
Charity
The Medical Network is a Peruvian registered non profit organisation (11181419) which promotes international electives and education for health care students from Peru and elsewhere. With our clinical partners we also facilitate and fund health campaigns benefiting the poorest communities of Trujillo and Cajamarca.
Cost
Our Elective program fees begin at just US$1450. This is comparable to the cost of making your own elective arrangements. However, taking your elective with us provides the security of knowing that your elective will be structured, your accommodation comfortable and support constantly available.
